Q: You guys need more bars on GoogaBar!
A: We know! We're working as quickly as we can to partner up with bars, clubs, and unique venues everywhere! If you think your favorite bar should be featured on GoogaBar, let them know!

Text Messaging

Q: I don't want to get texts from bars and clubs or I only want texts from specific bars.
A: You can quickly set your favorite bars from the My Account section. You only receive text updates from favorites. Note: Some bars send texts that are good for FREE food or drink!

Q: I don't see my cell phone provider.
A: Click here and tell us what provider you have. We'll add them as soon as we can.

Q: My provider is TracFone and I'm not getting the confirmation text.
A: Some cell providers actually lease out lines from the "bigger" companies such as Verizon and AT&T. TracFone and several pre-pay providers are examples. If you have one of these phones/services, we must determine which MAIN company your service is through. You can do that by checking your phone number here. After finding out, update your GoogaBar account to reflect the main phone provider and you should receive the phone confirmation text.

Q: I have one of the main cell providers and I'm not getting the confirmation text.
A: Please send us a message using the form above. We'll look into the issue ASAP.

Q: I don't have a cell phone so I can't verify and enter the contests.
A: Currently we use cell phones to verify a user as a real person as well as ensuring that a user only has one account. To win some contests a verified cell phone may be required.

Email

Q: I haven't gotten my account confirmation email.
A: Check your spam or junk mail folder. Most of our emails get through but sometimes they slip through into the spam folder area. Our emails come from "info@googabar.com" - you can add that to your trusted recipients.

Q: Can I just receive emails instead of texts?
A: Our main method of contact is via text. It's fast, simple, and right to the point. We alert you of new contests, giveaways, and of course provide your favorite bar updates through text. We do use email for some correspondences but as of now we're mostly focused on text communications.
